[ #Portfolio ?? ] The first year of BRACCHI Transport & Logistics's new era closes with growth ?? Argos Wityu Climate Action Fund entered the company's capital in 2023 with a majority stake with the aim of transforming Bracchi into a company at the forefront of decarbonisation issues. ANIMA Sgr and Clessidra Capital Credit together with a group of managers co-invested alongside Argos Wityu in the transaction. The figures for 2023 are excellent: consolidated turnover reached EUR 202.1 MILLION (+7%): ebitda also increased (+15%) and ebitda margin also grew (+10.1%). The net financial position also performed well, growing by +209%. This is all thanks to investments, which increased by +13% (€6.6 million was reached), and a careful employment policy that brings the number of employees to over 650. "Our decarbonisation plan, the execution of which will cover the next five years, will lead Bracchi to reach the goal of reducing emissions cumulatively by 33%." says Umberto Ferretti, CEO of BRACCHI Transport & Logistics. Exit Maersk / Enter Nilfisk I’m excited to share that I’m joining the Global Customer Insights team at Nilfisk. “What the heck is Nilfisk?”, some have asked me the past month as I told them about my next move. Or “I’m sure it’s an exciting opportunity since you’ve accepted it”, said with a hint of question mark at the end. Ok, let’s get the facts right, then the reason why this role feels just right. ? Nilfisk is a leading company within professional cleaning equipment. It’s a Danish company, with an international culture and a broad global presence (first ? ). ? Then: ? I’ll be joining a small team with big ambitions. The company is at an exciting point, more eager than ever to build products and experiences that actually fit into the worlds of their users (think Tetris, it’s all about spotting the relevant empty slots instead of forcing your T-shaped block into a square-spaced free spot - thanks Jimmy Ege Pedersen for that analogy) ? The chance to turn insights into action faster than I’ve been used to, thanks to a short distance between the insights team and the product and customer experience teams ? A physical product you can actually see in action. And where there’s an opportunity to make users’ work lives easier and less physically straining. ? The fact that my new team buys into my broader skillset (back to making work cross paths with words) ? And oh, I really look forward to also do some onsite fieldwork after a bit of an overdose on virtual user interviews the past couple of years. “You’ll get to see places like the ‘Glostrup of Paris’”, my new boss Martin Troelsgaard laughingly said when we talked about fieldwork (those of you in Denmark will understand that this is not exactly a positive thing). ? Here’s my POV: nothing beats being out there with the people who actually use the product and see how the product fits (or doesn’t) into the users’ lives. And as for the Glostrup of Paris: It’s all about being appreciative of the quirky sides of life. ? Finally, thanks to all the people who have offered their support, network, and perspective these past couple of months. You made a difference.

I absolutely love my job – helping talented young folks like Julian quickly find their footing in the professional world is the best part. My role is like a cool mix of old-school wisdom and the fresh perspectives of young talents. Julian's journey, going from a promising talent to managing two departments, is a perfect example of how this combo can work wonders. ?? Now, I have to admit, I'm a ' digibeet '– I proudly wear my "dinosaur" badge! Very important gathering taking place in Copenhagen on the same week that the International Maritime Organization ‘s member states discussed in London how to accelerate the green transition in the #shipping industry. #leadership and #dialogue are two main factors to reach consensus around a global marine fuel standard and a pricing mechanism that will bridge the price gap between #fossil and #green fuels. A.P. Moller - Maersk fully supports the green balance instrument suggested by the World Shipping Council, a recycled fee that will place the extra cost of green fuels on fossil fuels and in addition, it will open the door to a #justtransition allowing the creation of a fund for developing countries. I recently attended a Mainfreight Induction Day and had a great time meeting some fantastic people, and learning about the company’s culture. We toured the Tauranga branch, learned about Mainfreight’s history, and got a good look at how they do things. The induction gave me a better understanding of the different departments and the supply chain process. It was an eye-opening experience that showed me how committed Mainfreight is to excellence and teamwork. #Mainfreight #Blueblood
