Welcome to Tree Stores Citrus Nursery. We are located in Central California in Our greenhouses are certified by both CDFA and the USDA. We pride ourselves on providing beautiful citrus plants to our customers. For several years we have been producing our citrus trees in both liner form and in large pots for our growers. We are excited to introduce you to our medium sized trees grown in our 4 by 4 by 8 inch pots which we call our SPS. The product mix is customizable. Of your needs. These beautiful trees are multi-purpose. They make great shifting stock to quickly finish A1 to a 5 gallon product. They can be shipped and try wall containers that hold up to 170 trees. We can offer bulk by color tags to you at our cost upon request. This should help with your retail program to your customers. The SP container offers a medium sized plant that will easily transplant into a number one and #3, a #5 and even a #7 container for growing on. These plants are grown in optimal conditions and have been pruned to develop a low scaffold for a nice bushy finished product. The plants are grown in air prune pots that allow a denser, more fibrous root system because of the abundance of feeder roots created by the special pot. The trees have vigorous growth upon transplanting and will fill in a large pot rapidly. The plants can be grown on a variety of root stocks to fit your geographic location. We can provide you with plant variety recommendations or custom grow the plants to your varietal specifications. The SPS will usually range in size from 12 to 18 inches tall. The great root system of an SP will fill A1 gallon almost immediately. It would be just a matter of weeks to get a single flush on the trees and they would be sellable. The app will fill a #3 Squat Pot rapidly as well. If you have a premium soil mix, greenhouse conditions, proper irrigation and fertility with no pest pressure, you can finish a #5 Tree in six to eight months. We recommend receiving your SPS and shifting in late summer, and most varieties will be ready for delivery the following spring. Contact the office today to place your order.
