?? Lifelong learning in action! ?? At age 71, James Evans is redefining what it means to be a student. A junior Africana Studies major at Rutgers University-Newark, James brings a lifetime of experience into the classroom. He connects the history lessons being taught in his classes to lived experience and embraces new perspectives, even stepping outside his comfort zone in a hip-hop course! James is living the values of what it means to be an Age-Friendly University, including: ?? Older adults participating in the core activities of University education and research ??
