It's never been a more profitable time to be curious, especially about artificial intelligence. ~Kipp Bodnar This is from an episode of "Marketing Against The Grain" where I was a guest. Also: Kieran Flanagan did end up sharing the agent he built on Agent.ai that is discussed in the episode. Link on the YouTube page (link in comments). p.s. This quote was pulled out of the video with a new agent that scans a YouTube video and gives you a list of share-worthy quotes. Will be sharing that in an email to Agent AI users in the next 48 hours.
The important thing to remember is that Kieran and Dharmesh posts are successful because of who they are. They’re already famous and smart, and they didn’t become famous and smart because of AI. So their use of AI to create content and write posts, most of which seem to be kind of sky-is-blue thinking, proves very little Don’t fall for the hype, people Learn how to write how to think and how to draw. Learn how to do hard things. First off, it’s good for your brain. Secondly, while everyone else is doubling down on AI, you need to be double down on young mind body and soul. Work on making yourself liked and well known and admired. Then when you go and use these tools you will have a much greater advantage than everyone else who is only using AI ;(just like Kieran and Dharmesh) There are no shortcuts people. Never has been, never will be. Do the work. P.s you’ll also like yourself better when you’re not ripping off other people’s YouTube videos with machine written content and calling it your own. P.s.s you don’t like the AI ads that targeet you. Why will yours be any different. P.s.s if you train AI and ask AI to write ads like Ogilvy then you don’t understand advertising or Ogilvy.
Your comment about how the agents will be able to work together has my brain firing on all cylinders. So much potential here to streamline workflows. I keep thinking about how to build something that could publish and distribute content across multiple channels while having generative AI do the heavy lifting summarizing the content for each channel. Similar to content remix but where the agents actually publish for you and also do the write-ups (podcast descriptions, YouTube descriptions, etc). It would be my little digital marketing intern. The dream (and maybe the reality soon).
When can we use that agent ?
You're right, Dharmesh - curiosity about AI is so valuable right now. As marketers, exploring tools like the quote extraction agent you mentioned can help us work smarter and deliver more insightful content. At RedBeard, we've started using AI writing assistants for drafting social posts and ad copy. While not perfect, it speeds up our workflow and frees us to focus on strategy. I'm excited to see what other AI-powered marketing tools emerge to help startups amplify their brand voice and customer connections.
Super helpful! Thanks for sharing it!
Curiosity really is the currency of innovation, especially when it comes to AI. It’s exciting to see how tools like Agent.ai are changing the game, making it easier to extract value from content. The future belongs to those who ask the right questions. There's no escaping the AI revolution, why not just join it.
"Human spirit is the ability to face the uncertainty of the future with curiosity and optimism. It is the belief that problems can be solved, differences resolved. It is a type of confidence. And it is fragile. It can be blackened by fear and superstition." Bernard Beckett
Curiosity is like a treasure chest; the more you explore, the richer you become. What tools do you use to spark your curiosity?
Absolutely loved this insight from the latest episode of ‘Marketing Against The Grain.’ Being curious about AI is not just a trend but a strategic advantage. Also, it’s great to hear that Kieran Flanagan shared the details of the agent he built on Agent.ai during the episode.
