Today, I'm sending out a huge #TGIF cheer for a seamless transaction that not only met but exceeded customer expectations. This week, I had the pleasure of finalizing a project with a client who reminded me why I love what I do. It's the people, the connections, and the collaborative dance of ideas and execution that make all the difference. There was a moment where I faced what seemed like an obstacle, but with a little creativity and a lot of open dialogue, I found a solution that had us both genuinely excited. It’s these moments of breakthrough, the push and pull that leads to such fulfilling outcomes, that make every effort worthwhile. I can't help but feel grateful for the trust my client put in me and for the opportunity to bring their vision to life. It’s victories like these that define my Fridays and set the tone for a relaxing weekend ?? . This weekend its Netflix and Chill for me?? ,for a job well done, to my client who's been a dream to work with, and to my support system. Can any of you relate to this feeling? Turns out, the kind gesture came from the manager, a familiar face from years ago when he worked as a junior server at another restaurant I frequented. Back then, I visited so often that I became friends with the staff, and they always made sure my experience was top-notch. It wasn’t just about friendship. My average bill was Rs. 10,000+ (still a significant amount). To encourage my visits, they often offered discounts, and I, in turn, kept returning, whether it was for professional meetings or casual outings. In short, this mutual relationship thrived because of two factors: ?? Consistent business from my end. ?? Exceptional service and goodwill from theirs. ???This is Reciprocity in Sales in action! Today, I finally had the long-awaited 1:1 with the inspiring Karyl Iles at All Bar One New Street Station, and wow, we should of had one earlier! ?? From the moment we sat down, it felt like reconnecting with an old friend. Karyl has this incredible way of making you feel like you've known her for years. She’s genuine, warm, and her honesty is so refreshing. ?? We dove into her amazing career journey, and I walked away feeling incredibly motivated and inspired. Hearing her stories and learning how she’s navigated with such resilience and grace was a masterclass in itself. ?? She’s the kind of person who shows that success isn’t just about achievements but about the relationships and values you carry along the way. ??
