Exciting news: MetaROR is partnering with the STI-ENID 2025 Conference in Bristol! Amazing to experience how efficient and active workshops can be. A great organisation with great people, thank you! Often enough, we have to decide between different events. Agenda is only one side of the coin. In many cases, reality becomes only clear at the venue. In this case, I have no doubt that the decision to join this event was correct! Building an ecosystem for quantum-secure communication without losing the research perspective for the maturing QKD technology is not trivial. The community is performing its important part for a complex task and equipped with the needed skills.

We have now officially kicked off the EU consortium project KeratOPrinter! The consortium partners already engaged in some very close collaboration during our first meeting... ??? We have an ambitious aim: to 3D bioprint a full-thickness cornea with all three cell layers while replicating its intricate microstructure, and to enable clinical and commercial translation of the final product! And we have 5 years to achieve our goals. The consortium consists of Heli Skottman's group of Tampere University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology StemSight - Vision Unlimited AM Technologies by Brinter Robert Luxenhofer's group of University of Helsinki Vanessa LaPointe and Mor Dickman at MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Utrecht Crowdhelix ASPHALION Cellbox Solutions and Bj?rn Bachmann's team at Uniklinik K?ln

Three editors selected articles from the conference proceedings, to be published in the following Special Issue, https://lnkd.in/dbYKuyQA Unfortunately due to a small error on the model that I used for the dynamic analysis on the full article on the conference proceedings I had to re-derive the equations of motion and then proceed to a new dynamic analysis that led to my article for this Special Issue, https://lnkd.in/gAHjt_Y Chapter-3 Most downloaded/accessed article for the 30 years of Nonlinear Dynamics I was thinking that it was one of my best scientific works and as an open access article almost day by day I was checking the "downloads" by taking screenshots of the web page of the article (unaccounted visits upon the standards) and I still have them in word document. On 3rd of September 2020?I received an e-mail by the Editor-In-Chief (EIC) from the Nonlinear Dynamics Journal to congratulate me that my article is among the top 3 articles for the 30th years of service of this journal and the EIC provided to me the associated link of Springer's video, https://lnkd.in/d5w4MP5i This video has been played many times during NODYCON 2021, and as an embedded one that anyone can see it is in the sponsor's video (the relevant announcement about my article is on 1:57-2:03 minute) of the program's web page of the conference, https://lnkd.in/d2WCWKmf My article is still the 2nd most downloadable article with 16k accesses. Chapter-4 My view to target high number of downloads Upon my view this article has so many downloads because the content is targeting very broad "type" of readers, -mathematicians (nonlinear dynamics), -physicists (physics away from equilibrium), -engineers with research in rotating structures -industrial engineers (finite element software cannot perform comprehensive nonlinear dynamic analysis). I concluded that seeking high number of downloads we must broaden the type of readers. Evidently, the current top article in Nonlinear Dynamics has been published during COVID pandemic and it is about the COVID pandemic...

Identify synergies and collaboration opportunities With a dynamic program featuring panel discussions, keynote talks, interactive breakout sessions, and educational lectures, participants exchanged best practices, addressed challenges, and built connections to foster future collaborations. ?? What’s in the Report? The report captures key discussion points, outcomes from group activities, and proposed solutions to address pressing challenges in the SR field.
