Recent reports, including an article from Olivier Gosset I came across , highlight closures of several biotech companies in recent months. ?? According to the latest Alliance for Regenerative Medicine report on investment trends for cell and gene therapy in 2024 , Europe received only a small fraction of the $7.1 billion invested in Q1 : $1 billion ($6.1 billion of that came from North America). This situation got me thinking: With such a significant funding gap, is it time to rethink our approach to clinical trials? ?? Specifically: - ?????????????????????????? ???????????? : ??
