The event, which is sponsored by the Adirondack Daily Enterprise and Lake Placid News, will be held in the Sparks Athletic Complex at North Country Community College, 23 Santanoni Ave., Saranac Lake, from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 6. As I began teaching, I discovered there is a parallel discernment we as #EduCreators (love that word, genius Christel Guillen!!) make daily between thinking to write and writing to think: there are editing ("thinking to write") moments, and there are creative moments ("writing to think"). In all classrooms, there is room to support both at differentiated levels for all students--we just have to keep equipping ourselves and pushing education further, higher, and wider. I hope this is a packed house -- excited for this!!!

Please bring a tablecloth, any table decorations/marketing materials, and applications. ? Wi-fi will be available, but please bring your own electronics and extension cords. About the culture at Better Together job fairs: ? Culture of Celebration - We will celebrate every person and every opportunity which they find at the job fair. Make a big deal out of interviews, job offers, and other meaningful interactions. We also want to celebrate them and the employers! ? Opportunity Bell - One of the most obvious ways we celebrate. If you extend an on-the-spot job offer, please come up to the bell with your new employee to ring it together so we can all stop, clap, cheer, and celebrate with you. ? Job Coaches - Volunteers will be working with and encouraging job seekers throughout the day. If you are looking for something specific or not having a lot of luck, flag down a coach so they can be on the lookout for exactly what you need.
