AI-powered personalization increases phishing fail rates nearly 8x. A major healthcare system with over 6000 staff members performed a phishing simulation. Half of the staff received a standard, traditional phishing email. Non-customized, riddled with mistakes, and translated with dated technology, the traditional phishing email was only opened and clicked by 7% of recipients. The other half of the organization received personalized phishing emails that referenced current events at the hospital.
