Better Late Than Never, Because the End is Always Better Than the Beginning! Last week, I had the privilege of joining the Advance with Haoma (the LinkedIn Queen) webinar by Envisage Hub, which kicked off on the 17th of November. The onboarding session was a warm and exciting welcome to what has since been an enriching journey. From insightful sessions on LinkedIn optimization and positioning to being challenged to step out of our comfort zones, it’s been nothing short of transformative! One of the highlights of this experience is the 20-day LinkedIn Challenge, where participants are encouraged to post daily to boost engagement, expand connections, and share value. Well… here I am, posting for the first time—a bit behind schedule but with an abundance of enthusiasm! They say, better late than never, and I believe "the end is better than the beginning". So today, I’m taking a bold step to fully embrace this challenge, determined to stay committed and see it through to the very end. Sometimes, life gets in the way, and starting can feel like the hardest part. But when you do, you unlock potential, build resilience, and create new opportunities. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve registered for Advance with Haoma Worgwu by Envisage Hub! I took this step because,I wanted to push myself beyond my comfort zone, enhance my skills, and accelerate my personal and professional growth. I’ve always believed that growth happens outside of our comfort zones. This challenge is designed to test my skills, mindset, and resilience, and I’m ready to take it to the next level. Earlier this year, I made a decision to put my self out there. I realised that I was becoming an introvert socially,I just wanted to grow silently and do my things on my own. This week began with a journey of intentional growth, thanks to?Advance with Haoma by Envisage Hub. During the onboarding session, the previous Saturday, she made this striking statement "?????? ???????? ???? ???? ???????????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????????????? ??????????????", invariably setting week. One of the most impactful moments this week was during a roundtable session. Two statements stood out: ? Don’t disqualify yourself from opportunities because you think you don’t measure up. ? Stay open to unexpected opportunities, even those you wouldn’t have considered before. I resonated with the second lesson. As an undergrad, I accepted the role of Pioneer President for Intellectual Property Club , even though IP wasn’t my primary interest at the time. Fast forward, and Intellectual Property has become a significant part of my journey. ?????????????????? ?????? ???????????????????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???? ??????????????. This week has also taught me the power of making effort and showing up. Sometimes, just doing that places you before your next opportunity. To you my friend, let me encourage you. Starting this year, I had big plans—learn new skills, grow my network, and become more active on social media. One of my goals was to hit 5,000 connections on LinkedIn. But here I am, just 14 days to the end of 2024, and I’m not even halfway there. I realized something important: I need to take uncommon actions if I want uncommon results. So, I decided to end the year strong by challenging myself. I’ve joined Haoma Worgwu?20-Day LinkedIn Challenge to push myself out of my comfort zone. A few days ago, if someone had asked me what success looked like, I might have painted a picture of luck, timing, or maybe even talent. But this week, my perspective shifted. Since joining the Advance with Haoma program, every session has felt like peeling back layers of mystery around what it really takes to achieve your goals. Yesterday’s session, though, was something else entirely. It wasn’t just insightful, it was personal. I had the privilege of hearing from some of the most intelligent and driven individuals I’ve ever encountered. Rhoda Orovwiroro, AAT, ACA Ewerechukwu A. Instead, they were stories of conscious effort, hard work, resilience, determination, and tenacity. One lesson echoed through every word spoken: ?????????????? ???? ?????? ??????????. It’s a product of intentional steps, no matter how small they seem in the moment. ????????’?? ???????? ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???? ?? ???????????? ?????? ??????????????????????????. Even when they feel out of reach. You’d be surprised how many doors you can open by simply knocking. ?? ?????????????????????? ?????????? ??????????????????????. Keep sharpening your skills ?? ???????????????? ????????????????. The opportunities you dream of won’t come to you if you’re standing in the shadows. ?? ??????’?? ???????????? ????????????????. I’ve learned not to write myself off before even trying. Thinking I’m “not ready” or “not good enough” isn’t helpful. ?? ???? ???????? ???? ????????????????. After years of being a silent observer, I’ve decided it’s time to show up, share, and grow with this amazing community. I have decided to ADVANCE with Haoma Worgwu What better way to walk than with someone who hasn't just walked far and wide, but has done so elegantly, leaving footprints? My goal is to keep getting better personally, professionally, and spiritually. As a recent graduate, I’ve been caught between my creative and administrative skills, unsure of how to showcase them to the world.
