This 8-week consultation, running from Monday, 6th January 2025, to Friday, 28th February 2025, is a unique opportunity for you to help shape the future of nature recovery across our borders and beyond. Interactive online maps to explore and comment on proposed areas of environmental importance. A 140-page draft strategy document, outlining detailed strategic aims and priorities. Upcoming Events We’re also hosting a series of briefings and events—both online and in person—so you can learn more about the strategy and ask questions directly. UCLA ITS director Adam Millard-Ball spoke to CityLab about the connections between street connectivity and evacuations. Professor Millard-Ball's latest research, along with co-author Christopher Barrington-Leigh of McGill University, mapped street network sprawl around the globe, and found that many of the worst-affected neighborhoods during the fires have some of the least connected street networks in LA County. https://lnkd.in/gAZHDcan
