Celebration Friday!
It’s my 13 year anniversary of running EBM – it really has been that long!! ?? ??
So….‘13’ some might say ‘unlucky for some!’
When I sit back and think about it and appreciate what’s been achieved (note to self – do this more often!), it’s quite humbling to reflect on EBM’s growth, our clients over the years, developing a great team, and how we have embraced technology to offer more streamlined services over the years…more to come on that another day though.
To be honest, I’m feeling pretty lucky that I found this opportunity 13 years ago, but what is luck?
I’m sure we have all seen it where that same person seems to get it all, opportunities/ financial rewards etc…
Do you think we make our own luck or are people just born luckier than others?
While some factors are outside of our control, it's important to create your own opportunities, influencing luck by putting yourself out there and taking advantage of new opportunities rather than waiting for opportunities to find you.
Believe in yourself, have a strong work ethic, a positive mindset and know how to overcome challenges along the way really helps.
So my ‘13’ begs to differ – I’m off to celebrate!? ?? ??
?? Oh and apparently, my daughter informs me, 13 is Taylor Swift's lucky number!
