As most of those who know me know also about my passion for painting, there is no surprise that finally, yesterday, I launched my new YouTube channel, Art Connect - Paintings for Soul with Adriana Camara. I started to paint in 2018, after life challenged me and my family, and my passion saved me. Since then, I watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, I read lots of painting books and practiced almost every day, at least 1h. I am a self-learner and I discovered very fast that this was not only a hobby, but a passion. I started with some small canvases, 5 painting tubes and a few brushes, some tutorials for beginners and in about 2 years I discovered that I am able to paint from my heart, for people's soul. When I paint, the world stops, there is nothing else but me, my canvas and my colors. It's a beautiful world, where I can imagine anything. All my feelings are transposed to each canvas I make. And because I started this passion by learning from YouTube tutorials, and because creativity is contagious, I decided to pass it on and I started to prepare also YouTube tutorials with part of my paintings. Last year my life was almost finished, after my son died at only 17 years, and I believed that this is the end... I won't be able to live after this.... And yet, again, my passion for painting kept me alive, helped me like a guiding light through darkness time. It helped me to keep my focus, live in the present and let all my emotions go out, directly on each canvas. This year I also studied for 3 months, 4 hours / week, with a painter, I learned the oil painting technique and I've enrolled to another training with a teacher from UK.
