Interventional radiology is there for women with pelvic venous disease (pelvic congestion syndrome old terminology)
As Medtronic Endovenous team we attended 21. TJOD Congress which took place 15-19 May in Cyprus. Our aim to increase Pelvic Congestion Intervention therapy awareness between gynecologists whom are play critical role as referral. Medtronic provides embolization treatment option to pelvic congestion syndrome. ''Pelvic congestion syndrome occurs when varicose veins develop around the ovaries, similar to varicose veins that occur in the legs. '' We collected +24 Lead Gen. Thank you Pelin Inal for your all support I would like thank Bora Peynircioglu for his support. And ALPER DOGAR who is leading?? of this project to create collaboration between Medtronic EndoVenous and TJOD Medtronic team Ufuk ?ahin Muhammet Yurdugür Bekir Yusuf Yener Müge YILMAZ for organizing meetings to raise this awareness in their regions. (September 8th)r I asked our Pathology team what went well for them last week, and here are a few of their thoughts: ? Congratulations to Toni & Michelle who successfully submitted their completed poster for the 2024 National Society for Histotechnology Convention! ? Mel, one of our Histology Team members, turned 24 this past week! ? Our histology team has been working on some method development involving resin embedding of teeth, and things are progressing really well. ? Meat, our necropsy supervisor convinced Pavel, our histology supervisor, to cut off his man bun! ? Football started up again this week! ———————————————— WHY AM I SHARING THIS? I work in a fast-paced research environment, in which there’s a never-ending conveyer belt of work, with long days, tight deadlines, and unplanned extra stuff that throws a spanner into the works literally every day. I bet most of you can relate to much of all of this. It takes a dedicated team with their eye on the mission to come together and do their best to win the week. I’m privileged to be part of one such team. Every weekend, I like to reflect on the wins we had in our department during the past week. It’s easy to focus on the frustrations, the curveballs, or what you didn’t quite check off the To Do list. So I find that a little positive reframing is not just a good reminder of what went well, but also sets me up for a positive start to the new week. I try to remember to share some of these wins here, because it makes them seem more real.

WHAT WINS DID YOU CELEBRATE LAST WEEK? I asked our Pathology team what went well for them last week, and here are a few of their thoughts: ? Early completion of histology slides for one large study. ? A large quantity of materials was archived, which freed up storage space in our general Histology area. ? One team member persisted in a search and found something that we thought was lost. ? A fickle piece of lab equipment cooperated when it was most needed! ? Another pathologist provided “great slides” feedback to one of our senior histology technicians! ———————————————— WHY AM I SHARING THIS? Delighted to present my poster at the Annual Conference of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO), showcasing the impact of Medscape Education on physicians’s understanding of the latest developments in glioma care. Deeply thankful to my wonderful colleague Deborah Grainger for delivering an outstanding programme and to Dr Patrick Wen, Dr Matthias Preusser and Dr Mehdi Touat for their invaluable support.
