As I enjoyed the thrilling finals of Wimbledon and Euro 2024 (Vamos Espa?a!) last night, it was a throwback moment for me, witnessing these two events on the same day in Mumbai after 2016! I can't help but marvel at how far technology has come. 8 years ago, during relentless monsoon conditions, I relied on satellite-based broadcasting services where even a passing cloud could disrupt my viewing experience. Today, with advancements like uninterrupted streaming and on-demand viewing, we often take these conveniences for granted. It's a testament to how technology continually enhances our lives, making entertainment and information accessible regardless of weather or location. Yet, this is just the beginning. As we look ahead, I anticipate even more innovations that will further simplify and enrich our daily experiences. From AI-driven personalization to sustainable tech solutions, the future promises to be even more exciting. Here's to a future where technology continues to make our lives easier and more connected. Bringing the incredible 5G experience to over 11 million fans during the year's biggest sporting event was a thrilling challenge that Orange and Ericsson tackled with passion! ?? Once Orange was selected to provide networking for the event, they launched into action with Ericsson to close any gaps in the network and bolster it where needed. In fact, this effort saw 120 temporary sites and 40 temporary antennas installed across the Seine in Paris. ?? This meant that fans could do whatever they needed. Whether they were in a fan zone but wanted to livestream another event amongst thousands of connected devices, or order their cab to take them home after watching the athletics in the Stade de France, 5G facilitated whatever fans wanted to do. ?? It's great to know that our network operators and their partners can work hand-in-hand to give us a better experience. ?? How important do you believe it is for network operators and partners to continue collaborating on such large-scale projects?
