I have had the pleasure to witness many fantastic Senior Capstone projects across Case, Park, and Horlick this year as our staff and students continue to develop these into amazing learning experiences. A scope of practice review recommendation: That all intern doctors complete one 10-week general practice rotation. A general practice rotation should be a requirement for a doctor to achieve General Registration. GP's make up 33% of all doctors in Australia. However the first year post graduation (PGY1) does not require a general practice rotation. And we wonder why fewer doctors are doing general practice.
