Today I learnt an interesting fact that Leadership is not about Power, it is about Influence. As leaders positive influence is key to drive high performance teams and build future fit leaders. It eliminates fear from teams and instills drive to deliver with integrity. Such a leader encourages employees to be better leaders in their own territories, and enable them to take ownership of business strategy and be accountable for their actions without Fear. Now the below table just sumed up how an Effective Leadership should look like, Serve and Positively Influence Teams/Employees.? Right or wrong, these two inspired me to be a better leader in my own right.
