This is something else that has always bothered me...the description laughably didn't even get to the animation part before it cut off. You want a junior 3D animator...but what you are asking for, is not a junior 3D animator. Not only are you asking too much but you're rarely going to get "high-quality" anything from a junior, they're still learning and have little to no experience yet. I absolutely LOVE my baby animators and they can deliver good work, but they need someone to help them get their sea legs before they can hit that mark. It's something I've seen happen more than once, a studio will hire in a bunch of young, fresh juniors who don't know what they're signing up for, pay them pennies, and expect them to produce top notch work for a fraction of the cost. That's just not realistic. Especially when you expect them to basically be an all-in-one pro generalist. Please support hiring juniors with good intentions to actually help grow and cultivate their skills, training them to become those high-quality animators you seek.

I’m 3 years working experience as 3D animator. Here I have some experience from companies how they replied and rejected my application as 3D animator. Company A Their post requirement: -Ability solve basic animation-related challenges. -Adatable and open learning new technique -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently -2 years+ of professional experience as a 3D artist or in a related job. But this is how they reply to me: “While we regret to inform you that your application did not closely match our current requirements, please know that your information will remain in our database for future opportunities. Your passion and talent are evident, and we encourage you to keep pursuing your dreams, as the right opportunity may be just around the corner.” (I had a friend also applied this company and got the exactly same word reply like me. Perhaps they use auto-reply) Company B Post requirement: -Proficient in Maya -Good understanding of animation principles -Understand basic composition and cinematography -Good communication skills -Being OPEN MINDED to work different animation style…. -Able to take and understand directions well But this is how they reply to me: However, after careful consideration, we have come to the conclusion that there does not seem to be a close enough match between your experience and company needs at the moment. Our recruiting graph frequently changes depending upon project needs and status. Please do not take this result as solely due to lack of your experience or skill-set. New year, new job search. I’m looking for work as a 3D Generalist, Animator, or Cinematic Artist. I’ve worked in this field long enough to know what I can offer, and I’m keeping it simple: I’m here to do good work and bring solid results to the table. My skills include rigging, animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, and motion capture—I also have my own multi-camera motion capture system (MoveAI) for production needs. On the technical side, I’ve developed Python tools (sometimes with AI), creating solutions when projects need them. I’m experienced with software like Blender, MotionBuilder, Unreal Engine, and many others. The tools are just tools—it’s how you use them that counts, and I adapt quickly to what’s required. Senior 3D Animator vs. Junior 3D Animator: The Eternal Battle ?? Senior 3D Animator: Walks into the office like a sage who has seen it all. Knows every shortcut in the software, but prefers to complain about how it was better "back in the day." Animates a scene in half the time while sipping coffee, but spends the next two hours perfecting a single pixel. Their folder structure is a mystery even Sherlock couldn’t solve. ???? Junior 3D Animator: Enters with fresh ideas and energy, ready to conquer the world. Learns all the shortcuts... by accidentally pressing them. Stays up all night animating a character's walk cycle, only to realize it looks like they’re moonwalking. Takes feedback from seniors like it's a crash course in humility. The Bond: Senior animators shake their heads at the juniors, remembering their own chaotic beginnings. Junior animators stare in awe, wondering how the seniors make it all look so effortless. In the end, it's a beautiful cycle of learning, mentoring, and the occasional "Ctrl+Z saves lives" moments.
