In this letter, we shared two pro-competitive recommendations focused on enhancing access to pet medications and reducing prices for pet owners across Ontario: 1?? Ensuring regulations respect pharmacists' ability to dispense and compound pet medication. 2?? Considering mandating pharmacists' access to the supply of pet medications in Ontario. Our ongoing advocacy in this space is dedicated to fostering effective competition, potentially resulting in more affordable prices, improved access to care, and expanded consumer choice.
