Here are some learnings from a talk I attended about the work 1904labs did with Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated ?? ?? Token management will be critical LLM models will be your largest cost so evaluating your price to performance will be an ongoing process. ?? AI apps will have multiple models under the hood. Specifically, you can use less powerful models for different user prompts. ? Micro interactions are important, like one-click copying to a clipboard.?? These seemingly small features have a big impact on repetitive user tasks. ? The power of GenAI gets unlocked when you combine it with your data.?? This requires a data strategy. ?? Don’t try to build your own model You can’t keep at pace with these foundational LLMs. E.g. No one uses BloombergGPT even though it spent $10M training a GPT-3.5 class AI on their own financial data last year. Also, check out the blog post written by Brandon Fischer
