But they know the best Designers, and Illustrators, and Filmmakers, and they have incredibly high taste in all things art + style. They think big picture and small picture. My color correction reel. For those who don't know, the colorist makes the movies look pretty to fit the mood better in the finishing process. It's a pretty technical job that I love because I make everything look great in a much shorter amount of time than it takes to edit. I love to do this work. In this reel you'll see some stuff I've directed, shot, some I didn't, many edited, many I didn't, but I colored all of it over quite a wide variety of genres (non-fiction, commercial, stop motion mixed with live action, etc.) #color #colorCorrection #movies #film

Here's a quick showdown of the Rhinospray TVC's film emulation I mentioned in my previous post. It's made up of several separate layers to make it look authentic: halation, bloom, grain, color correction and grading, blur and soften, lens reflection and film gate in some cases. For simplicity, I'll just show the final result as a single layer here. Thanks to the latest version of Davinci Resolve, this can be done in just a few simple steps. A few years ago, it took hours of work to build such a special look. One is none, and two is one. Whenever possible, you should have a backup for key parts of your show or presentation. Also, your presentation was designed and put together on your computer or device it's more likely to work correctly on that device.
