Anti aging is the hottest area in the which the richest person in the planet are now completely fixated. Historically the most wealthy and powerful people have tried everything possible ( the Pharaohs, kings etc) to conquer death. Trillions of dollars going to pour into longevity research. Artificial Intelligence is going to dramatically hasten the progress in longevity research ( Deepmind, Microsoft etc). It is possible many among us may live past 100. Another great example of AI accelerating research for the better! So many people have unfortunately been affected by this disease, so to see AI push this kind of research further is extremely exciting. This is only one example of the very many companies and institutes conducting life changing research. Personally I always find it interesting how two worlds can collide like scientists in a lab with machine learning engineers to create something like this, it does make me wonder what the next breakthrough will be and problems it will solve? ??
