Warner Bros Discovery cuts jobs: NYT
Warner Bros. Discovery laid off about 100 employees Monday, mostly in its ad sales unit, The New York Times reported, citing anonymous sources. The move had been presaged in April, when the newly merged media conglomerate pledged to cut costs, including through layoffs. Just last month, HBO, the company’s premium cable network, eliminated 70 jobs. More rounds of cuts in various units of Warner Bros. Discovery will follow in the next two months, the sources said.
