The biggest global risks

'Youth disillusionment has been earmarked as a top neglected risk that will become a critical threat to the world in the next two years' quoted from the World Economic Forum's Global Risks Report 2021 during my interview with Deutsche Welle (DW-ADR)TV. Basically, young people are tired and they showing feelings of anger, discontentment and frustration evidenced by the growing number of youth-led movements that have erupted all around the world in the past decade such as the Black Lives Matter, Arab Spring, the global students strikes etc. Today’s young people are the generation that has borne a decade-long financial crisis, an entrenched global climate crisis and varying degrees of violence, conflicts, social unrest. They have been disappointed by the inaction of world leaders to issues such as social injustices, political exclusion and economic inequality then COVID-19 pandemic happened.
