As employers struggle to retain staff, mental health — a "massive contributor" to the worker shortage — is a top concern among companies. After a pandemic year filled with loss and isolation, burnout and addiction have worsened and are now seeping into workplaces. According to a recent survey, 31% of employers say mental health is having a "severe or significant" financial impact on the company.
