Inflation makes cheap dates a hit
Being called a cheap date used to be an insult, but inflation has made it an economic necessity for many. With the Consumer Price Index showing that alcoholic drinks outside of the home are up 12% since COVID and dining out is up 17%, daters are looking for ways to cut costs. Almost half of millennials and Gen Zers are opting to slice their dating costs due to financial uncertainty — opting for walks, coffee or cooking at home over heading out for an expensive meal, according to dating app Plenty of Fish.

Learning how to cook would work. A date can consist of preparing a low cost meal together. It saves money and you know what you are getting. You can have your date bring the beverages or have some on ice I can prepare a meal for two what it would cost to have two Starbucks drinks (LOL)!!!
