Biden order boosts Canada farmers
President Joe Biden signed an executive order last month that's meant to give small business owners in the U.S. a boost. Surprisingly, it's also giving Canadian farmers hope for reform. Included in Biden's order is a "right to repair" provision — giving people, including farmers, more latitude to do their own equipment repairs or use independent shops — which the Federal Trade Commission voted unanimously to prioritize. "Right to repair" advocates hope any legislative changes the U.S. makes "ripple across the border."
