Amazon launches AI tool for sellers
Amazon is expanding its lineup of artificial intelligence tools. Its latest offering, Amelia, is a generative AI assistant designed to help third-party merchants improve their sales processes. The chatbot, set to be rolled out in the next month, can suggest text for product listings, create promotional videos and images, and provide inventory data. Amazon has been ramping up its AI offerings amid growing competition with Google and OpenAI. Amelia's launch comes on the heels of Amazon's introduction of Rufus, an AI shopping assistant, and Bedrock, an AI service for cloud customers.
