Multi-spotlight and multi-pinning
- If you've spent some time in Zoom meetings that include a lot of participants, you might have noticed that there doesn't seem to be any particular logic to where someone appears in the grid when viewing the meeting in Gallery mode. It can sometimes be difficult to see who's speaking even though a highlight appears around their video, and people might get shuffled around on screen as attendees enter and exit the meeting or turn their cameras on and off. Fortunately, Zoom includes a feature that allows you to pin specific people's videos in place so you can always keep them visible on screen. We touched on this earlier and I mentioned that pinning lets participants decide which videos are important on their own screens without affecting anyone else's view. Now as the host, you can have multiple videos pinned to your screen. Simply place your mouse over the video you want to pin. Click the three dot button, and choose Pin.…
