- Have you ever heard the expression the confused mind says no? You've certainly experienced it. Someone says, "Oh, do you want our ABC package? "That's 20% off, or you can have the XYZ package "that includes B, but not C, "and that's only 10% off, and you can..." Nope. Forget it. Too confusing. If you want someone to do something, you need to be very clear about what you want them to do, and you need to be equally clear how you want them to do it, and by when you want them to do it. So, what do we want with our emails? Engagement. We want people not just reading, but clicking, saving, forwarding, sharing, and best of all, responding directly to you by writing you back.
