- [Instructor] Microsoft Word supports two broad types of lists. The first type of list is a single-level list. And there are two types of single-level lists: with bullet points and with numbers. We use numbered lists for things that are done in a sequence, a series of steps, or for a list that is inherently numbered, like a list of the top 10 movies: one, two, three, four, or five. We use bullet points for items where the sequence doesn't make a difference. They are peers to each other.
