(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Let's do a challenge. In this challenge, we'll create a button to improve your workflow. First, let's talk about some of the network discovery protocols you'll commonly see on a network. One I commonly see is called Simple Service Discovery Protocol. Now this is used for service discovery and universal plug and play environments. Another one is the All Join Notification Service. Now, this enables communication between IoT devices. And Multicast Domain Name System provides IP address resolution without using a DNS server. And it's commonly used by devices on a LAN to find and communicate with other devices that are using plug and play capabilities. Now, while all three protocols can help improve network functionality, they can impact the way you visualize a packet capture.
