- Besides all the different graphical tools that we have looked at that are available for managing active directory, we also have a couple of command line based tools that we have as an option. Now, first of all, here on DC1 in the server manager if I go up to the tools menu you'll notice that there is an active directory. It's the third item here, active directory module for Windows PowerShell. All right. And if I click on that, all it really does is it takes me into what looks like a command prompt window, but it's actually a PowerShell window, right? I have PS at the beginning.
