- [Instructor] Another type of policy that we can use to help keep our systems secure is the Account Lockout Policy. Now, one thing I want to tell you it's similar to the password policy. It needs to be applied at the domain level, okay? So the Account Lockout Policy, those settings only matter when you're looking at a GPO that is linked to a domain. So what we are looking at here is we're in the Group Policy Management Editor and we're actually in the exact same location we were for the password policies, which is under Computer Configuration, Window Settings, Security Settings, Account Policies. And then here we have Account Lockout Policy. I'm going to click on that, and you'll see that there are three settings that go with the Account Lockout Policy.
