- [Instructor] If there is any one technology that has had such a twisted path to becoming a full-on standard in the digital studio, it just has to be video. If there is one UX design technology that is not fully understood, it also has to be video. And in this video, I'm going to attempt to clear up both sides. The main issue with video has always been file size. I used to jokingly tell my students that in order to move a video file from one computer to another they would need a hard drive with a tow-bar and wheels. Prior to 2003, getting a video to play on a website was always problematic and getting it to play on a device, (chuckles) well, good luck with that one. That all changed when Adobe introduced the FLV format that allowed video to be run through the Flash Player.
