- [Instructor] So what should you know as you take this course? Skills you should have would be basic understanding of what cloud computing is, you need to be able to understand what information is, and how information is stored as data, you need to understand some basics around security, in terms of encryption in flight and rest, the ability to understand the role of governance, or how limits are placed on particular computing paradigms, including edge computing, and then finally, the basics of IT operations, what does it entail, what are the basic roles and responsibilities.
