- [Instructor] So how do we deploy edge-based computing systems from the cloud? Well, the general idea is this. We go through a design stage, have design documents or artifacts. We build the system. Typically, that's going to be through coding. We define the data, and that provides the database schema or the database design. And then we test the system where the output is going to be the tested system. And then we move the code to edge in computing devices as well. And that's going to be the running software. So what happens is we have a couple of options here. We can go through an application development life cycle and a series of tools that sits on the public cloud that allows us to design, build, and define the data, as well as test the system.
