- [Instructor] If we need to make a change to the storage that a virtual machine has, we can do that fairly easily. Here in Virtual Machine Manager, I can go into the details of this machine and, down here in add hardware, I can choose to add an additional storage device. I can set the capacity of the new disk and I can choose what kind of storage it is and what BUS it appears as. If I add a disk using the IDE BUS, I'd need to restart the system to have that show up, but, if I choose USB, the storage will show up immediately. Let's do that. I'll set the size to, say, 50 gigs. Under advanced options, I could choose to change the cache mode if I want to, but I don't need to do that right now. And I'll click Finish. This will generate a queue CAL file. so it won't take up all that space upfront, and then it'll attach it to the system. Back on the graphical console, here in the machine I can browse to the dev director and take a look at what I have. Vda is the boot drive for this system…
