Creating a session plan
- We've all attended training sessions where it flowed effortlessly and some that felt like it would never end. Maybe you led a training session and unfortunately it didn't go as well as you hoped. It's possible you forgot to cover some important points. Or maybe you ran out of time to answer questions. All in all, you're not sure participants learned what they needed to know and wish you had a better plan. Training isn't just about standing in front of a group of people and sharing what you know. Effective trainers plan sessions in advance to create productive learning experiences. A training session plan also known as a learning plan organizes the activities and resources you'll use to guide participants toward a specific learning objective.
