- When it comes to workplace learning, if you want real change to happen, you're going to need to sell it, and to a long list of stakeholders, from the C-suite, to line managers, all the way down to the final users, your learners. So what's in it for them? That is the question you must address, and the answer is going to be different for each group. You'll need a clear communication plan to make sure they all get this message, and buy into it. There are a few lessons we can borrow from sales here. First, use a qualification process to make sure there is a real opportunity to get funded. Basically, the question is, you know your project will deliver huge value, but does the business really get it? And will they invest?
