- [Instructor] Many calculations look at every row of a table, while others look at either all previous rows or a subset of the previous rows. In this movie, I will show you how to create calculations that can look at a window of rows. That can include rows before the current one, or after the current one, or a combination of both. The window calculations, which you can use in the manner I've described, include a number of very familiar names. And in fact, these are all variations on the base functions that I described elsewhere in the course. You can, for example, find the sum average or count of the number of rows within a window. You can find the minimum, maximum, and median value, the variance or variance for the entire population. Same thing for a standard deviation.
