Many other calculations are more complex and in some cases, require different formulas based on the values you're summarizing. In this movie, I'll show you how to use IfThen expressions to perform conditional calculations based on rules you define. My sample file is the IfThen workbook, and you can find it in the Chapter05 folder of the exercise files collection. I have the total value of orders placed by my hotel. As you can see, I have them sorted by order ID with the value next to it. What I'd like to do is to determine and indicate whether a discount might be available. The rule that I want to use is that any order with a total value of more than $300 would be able to receive the discount and any below it would not. And I only want to display Discount available if the order does…
