- [Instructor] The biggest and fastest growing technology companies, like Google, Amazon, Apple, have growing teams of product designers. But what does product development actually look like at these companies that have built their businesses around software and communication technologies? What actually constitutes the product, and what skills are needed to work with these constituents? The products are typically distributed, meaning elements of the product from the perspective of the user, are physically disconnected. In this video, I want to walk through some of the typical features of these products, focusing on how these features require designers to adjust their approach early in the conceptual design process.
