With an email-based authentication system, users will enter their email address and choose a password. This is the most commonly used authentication system on the internet, and it is the one your users will most likely be familiar with. Next there is text message-based authentication under phone. Text-based authentication is a convenient choice for mobile apps. To use it, you will need to use a provider such as Twilio to connect to the phone network on your behalf. Note that most of these options allow you to customize the text message. However, Twilio Verify does not. Another thing to keep in mind is that text-based authentication is considered to be less secure than other methods.
