- [Instructor] There is this delicate balance in the quality testing world between two similar but not equal types of feedback. When you are exploring the product through your testing and test cases, you will encounter behavior that doesn't work the way you expect. However, the question is, does it work the way it is design. A bug is when something is not meeting a design specification. A suggestion is an idea for improvement when something is not meeting a design expectation. These two things are completely different, but are often confused when people are authoring bugs. They see how something works, and they think it's wrong. But if it functions the way it was designed, it's not a bug. Think about this example for a moment.
