Now there are various commands available in Linux for system monitoring, each providing different type of information. So let's go over some of the commands that I have jotted down for you that are the most important commands that will give you all of the information that you're looking for. The very first command to actually monitor everything about your system in terms of resources is top. Top command is one of my favorite and I would say it's one of the favorites for every system administrator whenever they see a system being stressful and they want to monitor to find out exactly what's going on.
