So the commonly utilized tools or commands for this purposes include uname, which is commonly used to retrieve system information in a Linux environment. It provides details about the operating system and the kernel version that you are running on your system. The next command is dmidecode. This command allows you to extract details from the system's bios, which is basic input and output, and it uses the desktop management interface, which is DMI, to pull that information.
