- [Instructor] In this video we will cover some of the basic file management commands that a system administrator or a regular user would need to actually manage their file system, files and directories. Some of those commands are cp, which is a short to copy, then cp -r, this is to copy directories. The first one is to copy file, but the second one if you specify -r option, it is used to copy a directory. Then you have rm command. As you could see, it is for remove or delete a file. And to delete a directory, you could use rmdir. If you wanted to move or rename a file or a directory, you could use a command mv. And last but not the least, to find a file or a directory, it's very simple. You could use a find command.
