The number one benefit and most obvious benefit that is realized by most server administrators right away is a reduction in overall operating costs. Now, there are two main reason for this cost reduction. The first is the obvious one, which is since we have the ability to have multiple virtual servers on one physical server, it means we have to purchase less hardware. So we save money immediately. But the other cost savings that's not quite as obvious is the expenditure on resources to keep your servers cool and dry. Okay, so it's kind of the environmental resources that we have to spend.
