- [Instructor] The Raspberry Pi has a set of interface pins called GPIO which stands for General Purpose Input Output. Making the GPIO do something requires software. Frequently that software is written using the Python programming language. And for Python to communicate with the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins, it requires a library of code.
